December 2006 - Africa in Motion 2006: The Aftermath!

AiM 2006 was a spectacular success! Thanks to everyone - our audiences, partners, sponsors, volunteers and supporters - for contributing to the huge success of the first AiM festival. Our website - www.africa-in-motion.org.uk - now contains a report on AiM 2006, as well as a photo gallery, a press archive, and information about audience reception of the festival.

We have started planning AiM 2007 - please see our website for further information.

September 2006 - Africa in Motion Programme Launch

We have released the programme for Africa in Motion, the Edinburgh African film festival taking place from 20-29 Oct this year at Filmhouse Cinema. Please see www.africa-in-motion.org.uk. The programme includes screenings of more than 2 dozen African films from all over the continent, spanning 6 decades of filmmaking in Africa. Film screenings will be accompanied by a range of free complementary events and entertainment. This is an exciting first for Edinburgh and we are looking forward to seeing you at Filmhouse this October!

Dec 2005 - Mama Africa Market Research Results

The results of the market research conducted during the Mama Africa screenings are now available.

The data gathered from the questionnaires provide us with very useful information with regard to the planning of our African film festival. Many thanks to everyone who took the time to complete a questionnaire.
